New TREC rules

The Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) has implemented rules for education that set higher standards and require new certification for all correspondence - Textbook and E-book (PDF) -licensing courses. All online Texas core courses must meet these new standards by the end of 2014, and our courses already exceed these higher standards and have been approved by TREC under the new rules. Our Texas instructors also hold the CDEI - Certified Distance Education Instructor certification from ARELLO®. education. |

Salesperson Educational Requirement

The following courses are required for a salesperson license:
- Principles of Real Estate 60 (sixty) classroom hours
- Law of Agency 30 (thirty) classroom hours
- Law of Contracts 30 (thirty) classroom hours
- Promulgated Contracts Forms 30 (thirty) classroom hours
- Real Estate Finance 30 (thirty) classroom hours
Texas real estate applicants are no longer required to submit an education evaluation request form and receive a notice from TREC that the education requirements have been satisfied prior to submitting an application for a salesperson license.
